Shipping & Returns
Each dear_ piece is made, finished and inspected in Mexico City. Some pieces may be available to ship immediately, while others are made to order. The estimated production time for each design is shown on its product page.
Production time is separate from shipping time. Once your order leaves the studio, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking information.
Complimentary shipping
Complimentary standard shipping is available to the destinations shown at checkout. Depending on the value and destination of the order, a signature may be required at delivery.
Please make sure the shipping address is complete and correct before placing your order. If you notice an error, contact us as soon as possible. We cannot guarantee that an address can be changed once an order has been prepared or dispatched.
International orders
International orders may be subject to import duties, local taxes, customs charges or brokerage fees imposed by the destination country. These charges are not included in complimentary shipping and are the responsibility of the recipient.
Customs processing can occasionally delay a shipment beyond the estimate shown at checkout. dear_ cannot determine or reimburse charges imposed directly by customs authorities or local carriers.
Returns
A non-personalized piece may be eligible for return when the request is submitted within five business days of delivery. The piece must be unworn, unaltered and in its original condition and packaging.
The standard dear_ maker’s mark and material hallmark are part of the original piece and are not considered personalization.
A piece is considered personalized when it includes a customer-selected name, date, word, symbol, gemstone, custom size, modified finish or another alteration requested by the customer. Personalized pieces are not eligible for discretionary returns or exchanges, except where required by applicable law or when an item is defective or differs from the approved order.
Return shipping for a voluntary return or size preference is the customer’s responsibility. If the item is incorrect or has a verified manufacturing issue caused by dear_, we will arrange and cover the appropriate return shipping.
Before sending anything back, contact us at [CUSTOMER CARE EMAIL] with your order number. Returns sent without prior authorization may not be accepted.

Personalized rings may not be returnable because of size preference. Please contact us before ordering if you are unsure.
